| hi mike_johnson: we must have been on the same wave length as I bought a multi-region Dvd player plus the Palin 16 dvd set off of Amazon in November...they play beautifully and I am really happy with my final decision to part with $$$ and settle in and enjoy myself while the weather outside is awful...have friends in So. Dakota, so know that my awful is far from your awful!! keep warm...... |

We've got freezing drizzle/rain tonight and expect the temperature to dip to -20 deg/F tomorrow night.... Thanks for the keep warm thought!
I was actually going to transfer my old VHS tapes over to DVD using my computer when I decided to research the code-free player solution. Making DVDs just took too long - almost 3 hours per episode. I'm glad I spent the money. I'll enjoy the DVDs for years to come! |

I loved the series so much that I went to Egypt and stayed at Windsor's.

| The funny thing is things are never as you expected them to be. The trees in front of Windsor are too big to recognize and the young man who smoked the waterpipe with Michael is no longer young. I saw the series a year ago and I went to Egypt last month forgetting that all was filmed 17 years ago. Time really flies. |

My wife just bought me the DVD of 80 Days. Watching it again I would like to know why the Reform Club would not let Micheal in? As they allowed him at the start, what changed there minds?
Can anyone shed light on the subject? |

| This question about the Reform Club has come up before, and not just once. I say the Club needs to come out out and make a public disclosure of what they were actually doing that night. |
