	Messages 1 2  Greetings from Australia by raytheron on 13 February 2005 5:57am   Hi All, just a few words of greetings from another Palin fan now in Melbourne, Australia, after some time spent in the Azores and Japan (I was born and bred in South Africa). Michael's travels has long satisfied some of my own thwarted desires for travel. Yes, I've been to a few places, but not nearly enough! I'm also a keen photographer, by the way, and would like to hear from people with similar interests in my neck of the woods, or anywhere else, for that matter! Never had the good fortune to see Croatia, sadly, but would love to one day! It was especially difficult for me the first few months, even years, in The Netherlands. Yes, the countryside is very different indeed...In Croatia there are beautiful mountains...If you ever get the chance to visit Croatia, you definitely should. I could tell you interesting sites and places to visit. As for me, I would love to visit South Africa...from what I've seen on tv it is a gorgeous country! Although I'm very happy here in Melbourne, I miss the mountains around Cape Town - my part of South Africa. I run a website with weekly photos I take around here, so if you'd like to see Melbourne and its surroundings through my camera lens, go and have a look at www.rayscam.com. I would love to see Croatia, Roumania, Hungary and also Slovakia and the Czech Republic, among others, but I don't think I'll be able to travel again soon, not being as fortunate as MP to have my travels sponsored :) I have just been looking at a book of Basil Pao's photos taken in the Sahara -- stunning!
