Ahh mrsthing, you struck a chord talking about Pinocchio and the boys turning into donkeys. I have a heart after all. ;)

I don't care for lots of vulgarity in movies, but I like quite a few Mel Brooks movies: Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, Silent Movie, High Anxiety, and To Be or Not To Be. I don't think he could do "Blazing Saddles" in the US anymore. These days, you can't say "nigger" without everyone going nuts--even if you're just doing it to rattle people's cages and challenge established social norms. And the word occurs at least 3 times per scene.

I watched Phantom of the Opera. I liked it, Gerard Butler is hot! And then I watched Mrs Henderson presents, quite like it too. What else... Oh, Nightmare before Christmas, it's a tradition. And De-Lovely, film about Cole Porter (REAL Cole Porter), starring Kevin Kline (without moustache), also liked it.
