Geraldine I have sent you a link to the Sheilas Wheels advert plus a couple of pix.

Well, Simon & Kat flew off today on honeymoon with Emirates. They managed to get an upgrade too AND Emirates wavered their 10 kilos of excess baggage that should have cost them £340!!! My guess is that it was all Kat's shoes - but then again it could've been Simon's hair gel etc!!

They have taken with them the DVD of wedding pix we did for them, and are going to watch it in the Maldives.

Romantic or what?!!! Awwwwww.

:)

I have now watched all the official dvd of the wedding (3 hours) (our copy beautifully boxed "Our Son's Wedding').

Brought the day back - and I cried watching bits of it! Sometimes with laughter - there is a 'You've been framed' moment when one of the male guests (a bit worse for wear) dances off the dancefloor, then comes back in forgetting there was a slight step and goes FLYING half way across the floor!! As my husband says, it looks as if he's been thrown on! Then some of the messages are funny. They had a video camera set up in a room where you could go and leave a message for the happy couple. One guy (who incidentally played in the third round of last year's FA Cup) was pretending he was in the Big Brother diary room, with someone off camera asking him who his nominations were!

The dvd finishes with a black and white round up of the day, in photos and slo-mo. For some reason this REALLY got me sobbing!! And the final shot is of Si and Kat's hands showing the wedding rings with the words, 'This is not the end it is only the beginning' !

Apparently according to Si they had a choice of endings. Another one they could have had was a Dallas-type thing (the way it started) - that would have been fun !! But I do like this ending.

:)

The whole wedding sounds like a fairy tale come true Anne.

:P

You're just a sad, dried up old scotsman with a really cobwebby kilt and not much underneath it, aren't you Johnny.

Now leave the happy newlyweds (Si is particularly happy today because he and his chums were in a box at Ipswich to see his beloved Wolves win!!) alone!

;)

Yes he is but Ken's one of the nice ones. Ken collects stamps, Johnny collects insults. See the difference?

Glad the video was nice, Anne :)
