Well today I e-mailed our local paper as they host regular "Literary Liaison" luncheons with special guests that are ticketed events. One of the editors is looking into it for me as a lot of the staff who would know are away on summer hoildays. He has promised to find out where Michael will be if he is coming to Christchurch. Kind man :-}.

I'm also checking with Whitcoulls and Dymocks tommorrow when they re-open for business to see whether they have Michael appearing for book signings at their stores. Both stores' websites have no info just lists of their top ten books.

Rest assured, no stone will be left unturned until I've tracked our man's movements down, have secured tickets in hot little hand and worked out where to stand in the booksigning queue.

Ellen (with "Magnum P.I. delusions!!)

P.S Webmaster if you have any info on Michael's movements while in NZ I'd be extremely grateful. :-}}} Of course any details of the actual promotional tour would be much preferred!! :-}}}}}

Candice - welcome to the IDLS (I Don't Like Spam) Club. ;O) Don't forget the password, which is...well, really long and you can read it earlier in this thread. LOL!

Ellen, good luck with your search! I'm excited for you NZers! (It's only April, Mary, just wait until April...)

~Mary (who sees she has a lot of Palin Board reading after skipping on New Year's Eve!)

Candice, you're definately in good company there. Can't say I agree with their gastronomic leanings but good people all the same........ :-}

Ellen (with a thickish slice of spam half hanging out of her mouth in a spent cigarette kind of way whilst she types.....)

Help, help, the spam's on fire!!!!!

No problem Candice. We're full of sympathy for our fellow spam-avoiders in the IDLS Club. ;O)

Thanks for the boost of confidence there, Ellen... *sigh*
