Me, too. I don't recall anyone else who was so prepared to hit the ground running on 1/21/09. :)

I'm happy you're impressed with him Mike. He is even exceeding my expectations. We will have a Presidency that is a brain trust. I like that. :D

I will start this post with a laugh. A letter to the editor in the Economist was from a Canadian who did not take Obama's elections seriously. Why? Because Canada has had non-European cabinet officers and Governor Generals.
That's fine, but they have not had the head honcho elected like that.

MMM, you mentioned an important word in your post. Which one could it be?

Hmmmmmm... could it be "brain"? :D

I meant an Administration/Presidency. He really wants the best and brightest around him. Ahhhhh... It's such a relief!

Fans of Barack Obama in Britain will be pleased to learn that his 2 books are published here.
The rights to "Dreams Of My Father" and "The Audacity Of Hope" were cannily bought in January,2007 by a small Edinburgh publisher,Canongate Publishing Co,whose boss is Jamie Byng. These 2 books have already sold 300,000 copies in the United States, and when he heard of Obama's resounding victory on Nov 4,Byng ordered another 120,00 copies. They are selling in Britain at the rate of 20,000 copies(each)per week.Byng said:"It's been an amazing journey for us.."
...Well,that makes a change:Bravo.
