Baseball! by tucsonmike on 9 April 2009 2:16pm

I watched the Red Sox game yesterday. It was cold in Boston. Glad I am here. Somehow, hot chocolate @ a baseball game just does not have the same feel. Well, I can't have beer anymore lol!
Red Sox lost to Tampa Bay mumble mumble.
Tampa Bay is one of the Sox major rivals, that cannot happen.

Yeah, MIke, the AL east is the toughest division in baseball. Just think how we feel here in baltimore. Boston and the Yanks will always beat out guys we might want because our salary offers can't match theirs. So far, Texaira has been booed right out of the our stadium. (He's a local boy who opted to go with the Yankees. Pure greed) As if he wasn't a millionaire many times over already. He'll get back at us sooner or later. Baltimore is counting o0n you to beat the Yanks good, btw. lol.

No, Kazzzz - much as I too admire the colour purple and its delicate relatives lilac and mauve, Mike HAS to support the Red Sox because they go with his suspenders!!

Unless he has some PURPLE suspenders, that is.....

:)

Did the Red Sox lose their season opener, Mike? That's always a good omen, though now that they've broken the curse, the whole balance is off. LOL! I've been too busy to follow the news much lately.

...oh yes...the suspenders...yes....

Purple suspenders?! Yikes! Yes, the Sox lost the opener. It is true, the AL East is the toughest division in the game. The Sox, Rays and Yankees are expected to be up there all season.
Patty, trivia for you. Did you know the Yankees started in Baltimore? As the original Baltimore Orioles.
