Filming in my street. by perfectbitch on 29 July 2009 7:41pm

Had a letter through my letterbox from a film company which says that there will be filming of the new Woody Allen film. I think it's unlikely that he'll be there as he doesn't like flying but I'm hoping to catch a glimpse of either Anthony Hopkins or Antonio Banderas. Exciting stuff. ; ).

Oh bad luck. If ONLY it was a Tim Burton firm then you might've caught a glimpse of....DEPPY (and I have to say you would've had a new lodger - ME!!)

;)

Only kidding, how exciting!!

When will this be?

:)

This Friday and again in 2 weeks just round the corner. Nick would've been over the moon - Woody was a cinematic "Hero" for him.
There is a slight complication as my daughter and her husband are calling round to collect a fridge and a few other bits and pieces for my other daughter in Winchester. They're not too happy as they won't be able to park outside.

Ooh ANTONIO? Nice! Linz ray was saying that when they filmed Notting Hill (just around the corner as you know) they were all instructed to move their cars. He didn't and it was towed away he was livid. He refuses to ever watch it. His friend Barry is in the opening scenes on his stall (opp the Electric Cinema) but Ray has never seen this

Ooo! How exciting! I hope you see Anthony and Antonio. They sometimes film things near where I work but I haven't seen anyone famous yet. A couple of months ago they were filming in the little park at the back of our building, but only saw equipment and catering vans. They were probably filming early in the morning.

Next time I see "Notting Hill" will look out for Ray's friend!

Linz did they say what the film is called?

It's going to be called: "WOODY DOES WEST ELEVEN".
[....It's a sequel to "DEBBIE DOES DALLAS"].

That's actually ever so slightly amusing.

"Witless Protection," starring Larry the Cable Guy and Jenny McCarthy, was filmed in part at the park where Orion and I walk. I saw the back of Joe Montegna's head as he sped off in a van. The production company left an unholy mess. The full time workers are still cursing about it.
The diner scene from "Road to Perdition" was filmed about five miles from my house.
No, I didn't get to see any of it.

At the moment, it's called "WASP 09" but they just be a working title.
