The Chatter Box : Blathering On
The wonders of Audiobooks by pderop on 28 November 2010 6:40pm
Mr Palin, Mr Michael, Mr Mike

For the past years, your name has popped up many times, when picking a book. These days, it's happened much more so -- and it's a pleasure each time.

No, I haven't read all the books you wrote yet, but that's bound to change as years go by -- I'm in no hurry and I enjoy re-reading too much to even try catch up.

The latest addition to the enjoyment of your writings are the Audiobooks. Itunes is a marvel, the hours in traficjams were wasted anyway -- a solution had to be found.

And that's when your name popped into my head yet again -- and I uncovered another Gem.

Yes indeed, I watched the TV-series, I read some of your books -- but I had no idea, just how much I would like it when the writer would also read the story and -- marvelous indeed -- add impressions and feeling to it.

Dear Mr Mike, Dear Mr Palin, thank you for your travels and for sharing them -- a true gem.

*heads off to read Hemmingway's chair again*

What a sweet message, Peter:)
And yes, I'm a fan of audiobooks as well. Narrated by the author, of course.
