Christmas weather forecast by ev on 22 December 2011 7:31am
(Apologies to the 'What's the weather like where you are now' thread..)

So, what's the weather forecast where you'll be celebrating Christmas?

No white Christmas for us this time, just a string of coldish but clear or partly cloudy days:

We barely have any snow here! Last time it was like this was 2006. After that we've mostly gotten blizzards. This year is different.

But basically, it's going to be like it is now: sunny to partly cloudy, not too cold, temps will probably be in the 40s or 30s, it depends.

No white Christmas. Apparently Britain is going to be several degrees warmer on Christmas Day than it should be this time of year. no snow? As Charlie Brown would say, "I can't stand it! I just can't stand it!".

(to the tune of White Christmas)

I'm dreaming of a wet Christmas, just like the wood washed up on shore, when the pavement glistens and...

Temperatures in the 30's or 40's (c)...I wish! Rain is forecast to begin tomorrow afternoon and continue into the forecast future. Our extended autumn had to end sometime.

It's supposed to get near 50 degrees on Sunday! Cheese and crust! Snow is apparently suffering from a rare form of snow bi-polar disorder. I'm sick of this warm weather! I want my -20 temps with blizzards, where the windchill is 30 or 20 degrees colder than the temp is.
