The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Sonny Syde by Spursfan2 on 4 January 2012 9:10am
So, the Palins Gestapo has moved to ban Sonny Syde from the site.

All 'Sonny' did was to banter with folk - I have told people before that they should chill out and give back as good as they get. It is enjoyable and fun - oh sorry, the boring twats don't understand that concept do they!!

What a boring world it would be if it was inhabited only with humourless people such as these.

As I have said before, I have no romantic link with 'SS'/'JTM', nor am I a relative - I just enjoy his type of humour and YES I enjoy bantering with him.

How sad that this has come to an end - HOPEFULLY he will be back under another guise SOON.

Hope you are happy now, boring twats.

‘Any complaints?’ asked the prison governor.
‘Aye,’ replied Johnny, ‘the walls are no built to scale.’

Hey, John's a good man and Anne is a good woman. Unfortunately their public verbal bantering has pushed and keeps some other good people away. OK, I'm not slandering anyone, especially not ev. I appreciate the jokes ev, consider this a personal Thank You.

These guys are looking for what many of us consider contention. They will find it, if a reply by any one of us says he has found something anyone has said personally offensive. It puzzles me that a person could enjoy abusing another, let alone feel that it is 'light-hearted bantering'.

As Spursfan2 said, the world might be more predictable, feel safer and those whose lives are a misery may find some enjoyment, but it could seem boring to some if we we all had the same socio-political views. Or something like that.

Carry on!

I think Sonny Syde deserved to be banned. He was a poor imitation of my great self.
Sonny was never the great sage and wit of this site that I was. Sure, I made some mistakes. Even the great can't always be right but I sure made some people spit their coffee with laughter.

I've made this post with great difficulty from the sanctuary I've been resting in for the last year, in the hope that someone can take up the torch for me.

See Loretto, I can even resurrect the dead. ;)

To paraphrase Shakespeare, did you 'get thee to a [monastery]*' Johnny?

I thought perhaps you had become a monk-ey.

Welcome back!!

I fear this may be a short reincarnation Anne but it sure is the great JTM's two-fingered salute to those who tried to put me to the sword. :)
