..rum may be icky but not in the caribbean or hawaii..must be the beach atsmosphere... how about johnny english which just showed up in the colonies this past week? heard that it is pretty funny??!!! and seabiscuit is good....and skip gigli, awful reviews everywhere.

well...ok it is really atmosphere at least i think...so how about "bend it like beckham"?..which is still playing in small theaters nearby...have not seen it yet. perhaps a tot of rum would increase the enjoyment factor..hey, wot????

Saw "Pirates..." yesterday. A lot of fun. A good adventure with good soundtrack, costumes and visual effects. I agree...Depp was hot . The movie definitely made for big scrren viewing. Could win an Oscar for something, but not for best picture of the year.

As for Gigli, I wouldn't waste my time. The reviews give it about half a star. HAHAHAHA. And I give J-Lo about 6 months before she breaks Ben's heart. WOuld like to wrong though.

Seabiscuit!!!! I just have to see it. Some of the original Preakness race footage is included in the movie, and since I'm from Baltimore (and still live nearby), it's a must for me. Have heard nothing but high priase for this one! It debuted here! I think it might be another which one must see on the big screen to get the whole true feeling. I seldom go to the movies, but for certain films, it's the only way...

Patty-- i totally agree! I have seen two movies in the theater this year-- a new record! A Mighty Wind and Seabiscuit....
Anything to do with C. Guest and crew... and horses....
And when the Star Wars trilogy was re-released, my hubby and I spent ALL DAY in the theater. ALL DAY. we had popcorn for lunch.
Depp could wear a filthy oily rag and still look hot. Didn't MP do that in LOB? And did he not look hot? He most certainly did. Alright then. Went off a bit there, but...
I was very much so kidding totallty totally NOT serious about "Gigli."
:)
