Pole to Pole out on DVD soon by spursrule on 10 February 2004 11:52pm

Only three weeks or so until the DVD comes out, I cannot wait to see the episodes I missed during Christmas.

When will the other adventures be released like Full Circle and Hemmingway Adventure, both of which I have not seen at all?

The BBCShop website lists Full Circle as slated for DVD release on Aug 02, 2004 (or 02 Aug 2004, if you prefer).

Hemingway Adventure is available on VHS. No hint that it will ever be issued on DVD. Probably depends on how the other Palin titles sell. If it is released, I wouldn't expect it until next year-- alowing Himilaya to be released in the Fall without having to compete with another new Palin travel title for your DVD dollar (or whatever your currency of convience is).

bruckhorn, who'd like to see Hemingway and Palin's train travels released on DVD.

For What's It's Worth-I ordered Palin's, Derry to Kerry, VHS video (NTCS format, sorry no DVD) about a month ago from Amazon. It is part of the Great Railway Adventures BBC series. It's $10.00 and worth the money in your a Palin fan. I was a big fan of this series when it was on PBS several years ago. When last I checked BBC America didn't have any of these available in DVD the BBC doesn't take any orders from the US.

I ordered my copy of Sahara and at the same time pre-ordered my copy od Pole to pole on DVD yesterday. PTP gets released on the first of March, and according to amazon, they will deliver both on thr 4th/5th March.
Just wanted to tell you that if you order PTP now then you will probably get a copy of the first batch that amazon recieve, so it will get delivered early March.

Get it from Play.com, you will get Sahara now and Pole to Pole a few days before release if you are lucky.

I forgot to mention Sahara is only £12.99 at Play.com as opposed to £14.99 at the other websites.
