Book signings by simon on 8 December 2002 4:57pm

Hi... I would love to get my Palin books signed by Michael. I live in the midlands and am finding it hard to find a signing in the midlands region. Does anyone have an idead of where Michael's signings are confirmed for?

Cheers. Simon :)

sorry but I heard tha michael is not signing any more certainly this side of xmas

try writing to the address on this site in tavistock st London and they may beable to send you a signed photo and then you can put that in your book, or frame it

when Michael does another series make certain that you keep in touch with palinstravels and the daily llama news site for book signings - he may come back to the uk but he has done so many and after xmas there will not be the demand to make it worthwhile?! and he is possibly due abroad then.

you could always try e bay for signed copies this side of xmas - you may be lucky there are usually several for sale?!

keep with us -

Anyone think Michael might come over to the US for booksignings after Sahara (may or may not) airs here next spring??

What are my chances? 2 to 1? ;O)

If they don't air Sahara over here I may have to kill someone. ...And a book signing would be nice... *hint hint*

Indeed! When was the last time Michael was over in America? Just curious.

With Dave Davies coming to Chicago in February, a US booksigning tour by Michael would just complete my year! :O)

But I would understand if he couldn't - he's a busy man! Still, really looking forward to seeing "Sahara".

Hiya,

Other places that might have spare signd copies are the places he has been to already (Waterstones? in Canary Wharf, Waterstones in Leadenhall MArket in London EC3, um, WH Smith Bluewater, somewhere in Norfolk and the owlbookshop in kentish town. Can't think of otherplaces this busy man has been 2 for his book signings.

sorry for typos. my false fingernailz are still on (just about) but getting in way a bit.

What;s the llama news???? Am i missing summat?|

Must admit that to go all the way to US for booksigning tour would surely be a bit frustrating for everyone over there - surely u would want him to give a few anecdotal talks along the way.

Alas, we're still waiting on this side of the pond too :-( .... and webmaster says no news on if/when the Grand Supremo will share his stories with the great unwashed.

I think MP's taking a well earned christmas break now - probably got rsi in his wrist from signing so many books!!!!

I wonder how he finds time to get his christmas shopping done when all he's done is sit in shops signing!! Poor chap needs a break! Wonder if he wraps his own pressies up... Just re-read that. I meant pressies he means to give to others not gifts to himself.!!!! oops!
