Book Signings by Maria N on 8 January 2003 1:21am

Hello,
Does anyone know of a schedule for book singings in Canada?
Thank you.

He's coming to Canada in early April, but I don't have an itinerary.

Humm - I wonder if Michael would be so kind as to sign all of my Monty Python books, Riping Yarns Books, Hemmingway's Chair and all my Palin travel books when he comes to Victoria BC (hint hint Michael :) - that's Victoria, very close to Vancouver (and I might add you missed us on Full Circle).

lightrail - Michael usually signs other books but as to how many in one go? I took full circle to one signing and didnt buy sahara as i had already been to other signings and got it signed then
- but when i went to London brent Cross they asked for a limit at the end as people were bringing in loads of books and it wasnt fair to those who were queueing with Sahara, he will sign photos of himself as well as books but just ask before you present him with the complete set of yours as you might want to pick out the ones you want him to sign if he cant sign them all- they are very good at signing things other than sahara so there should be no problem as to getting others signed but as to how many? you may get lucky if you are in the front of the queue and get all signed - take the cover out of a video - he should sign that as well!

good luck - is it very cold in canada now or in April? if so give michael a big hug to keep him warm please! thanks @@@

Lyn (two kisses)

Hey Lyn, thanks for the info!

I was just wondering about "will he sign other stuff at a Sahara signing?" myself. I'm planning on buying the Sahara book when it comes out over here, but I'd probably going with two friends who probably wouldn't have the book. (One is a big Python fan but hasn't gotten much into their solo stuff, and the other is my friend that I'm slowly turning INTO a Python fan as we speak. For some reason she seems to like Michael the best, too... ;O))

So I'm glad to know that they could come along if I went!

Vancouver would be awesome. Awesome awesome awesome. It's good to know that he'll sign other things because if he comes to Vancouver, the travel costs alone will render me disgustingly broke; I may have to rely on my Python stuff.
