this scares the life out of me . by irishmanufan on 16 September 2004 1:18pm

just a minute ago i was printing my catalogues , reading some posts here and minding my own buisness . the phone rings . good i think to myslef a nice home brew order , and so it was . however there was a dying wasp on the window near the phone . i am terrified of wasps ever since , a couple of years ago , one got into my bed at
02-00 and i crushed it . as a dying gift it stung me 3 times . hurt like shit so it did . i had to take an order , talk to the customer and not sound scared shitless or run away form the phone . i did it all too :0)
cheers
Linda

Oh Linda I know what you mean...I can't stand wasps either and there are so many around at this time of year. I got really scared of them at 8 after seeing the movie Gulliver's Travels and it's a problem at school because I panic when they get into the classroom. Last year I got into trouble for jumping out of my seat during the lesson :0
I don't know what the purpose of wasps is, I suppose they pollinate flowers but bees could do it for them, couldn't they? They seem to exist just to sting people :(
You could try putting certain essential oils on the windowsill (don't know which ones, sorry, but I think there are some that wasps hate)
