Hemingway Adventure by Helen on 14 January 2003 4:52pm

.. happens to be a personal favorite of mine. It is a gem!
Basil Pao's photo of the woman on cell phone/statue with shell is brilliant.
I love it!
Thanks for including this treasure on the website.

Can't wait until I have time to check out the new 'Hemingway Adventure' section on the site! (As soon as all thsoe papers and midterms and speechs are done!)

I also reserved the 'Hemingway Aadventure' book (along with a few other Michael things) from another library, so I've got a lot to look forward to in the next few days! :O)

I watched HEMINGWAY ADVENTURE last week; I love the scene of the masked ball (festival?) in Italy where Michael is dressed as a Gumby! Absolutely marvellous!

Cheers,
Michelle :)

It made me revise my 'places to see before I die' list. Valencia during the Fallas Festival is now right there in the top 5.
I have a wierd story about when I read the book, but I already told it in another Hemmingway related thread here ('Hooray for Hemmingway' I think) and would hate to repeat it for fear of sounding redundant. But it is just a little freaky.

Nope, haven't read it yet, nottlob (Would you prefer to be called by actual name? You said it was Judy, right?) - that's why I reserved it at the library! 8O)

~Mary (impatiently waiting for a little note to say it's arrived at the library of choice)

Yep, Judy, it doesn't matter to me, as long as I know you're talking to me, I'll reply, lol. Take your time and don't rush! Enjoy the pictures! Scan the scenery! Imagine walking with Michael...haha.

Well, if you prefer one or the other, just let me know! :O)

Walking with Michael?? :OD
