Moulin Rouge! by Palinite14 on 22 November 2004 7:34pm
It's the Palin's Travels Tribute Thread. After last week's discussion of the merits of Darcy and Cleaver following Channel 4's kind screening of Bridget Jones' Diary, I would like to pose another question pertaining to Channel 4's screening of Moulin Rouge! on Saturday:

Who do you prefer, 'Ewan McGregor' or 'Jim Broadbent'?

ewan mcgregor!!, no competition lol

Shouldnt this question compare Ewan McGregor and Richard Roxburgh (The Duke, and also Dracula from Van Helsing), rather than Jim Broadbent? Jim Broadbent wasnt really a rival suitor for Nicoles affections.

Yeah, but who would ever say they prefered Richard Roxburgh?
Ewan McGregor, definitely.

Errr, maybe Mrs Roxburgh might.... ;)
Though given a choice, between all of the stars of the film, my vote would still go to Nicole.
Ewan is still cool though.

The motorbike show (with Charley Boorman) is called Long Way Round, and there are several threads about it. The book is well worth readin and Im looking forward to the DVD coming out next month.
