Python copyrights by Beatrix on 9 December 2004 7:11am

My drama club wants to perform on stage "Monty Python and the holy grail" does anyone know who I can contact to take care of legal stuff? Like royalties for example?

Somehow, with "Spamalot" in the works, I don't think you'd be able to get the rights... Good luck anyway -- write to:
Python (Monty) Productions
34 Tavistock Street
London WC2E 7PB

I think that's their "group" address...

The official position from the Python office is that if a school/drama club want to use Python material, there are no problems IF the show is a not-for-profit exercise. No permission is required.

If you intend making money from the show, then permission is very much required. The address above is well out of date. The current address is:

The Python Office
34 Thistlewaite Rd.
London. E5 0QQ.
England.

(Although, I know that Python business manager Roger Saunders was supposed to be moving the office to yet another location some time ago, but I have not heard of any address change as yet.)
