Sir Michael? by theabrahams on 7 October 2002 5:32pm

Isn't it time that MP was given a knighhood? Yes, methinks!

An innovative comedian, writer, performer through the legendary Monty Python which endures accross the world to all ages;
a great actor & writer in other movies & TV works;
an incredibly brave traveller/'explorer' whose entertaining exploits have educated millions to other cultures on screen & in print;
good charity contributor;
& genius both witty & intelligent & a downright friendly guy whom I greatly admire!
Arise Sir Michael!
(ps - in my late 20's - not so middle aged - take note Mr Journalist!)

He was awarded a CBE in 1999 I believe. Think he might have to wait a bit longer for a knighthood. If he keeps up the good work though he may be lucky.

Yeah. He also put money into a centre for stammerers. The fact that he put his name to it probably helped raise public awareness to the problems stammerers face.
