correspondance journals by dozy on 23 February 2003 11:26am

seeing as there is discussion about stamps and fridge magnets, are there folks here interested in correspondance? as in none electronic, but deliciously fat envelopes in the mail? if anyone is familiar with the 1000journals project, i was thinking it would be fun to start a correspondance journal round and see what madcap tidbits everyone would like to add.

I'd love to write real letters to someone! Anyone! I've not heard of 1000journals - so please elaborate on that one.

If anyone would like a 30 year old female penpal from Brisbane - just say the word!

Cheers
Kath

1000journals.com will explain - in summary: 1000 journals being sent all over the world and being documented online. i was thinking on a smaller scale, having a journal circle around.

now, i'm not sure how we'll trade addresses - i don't think we can look at profiles... can we?

I like the idea.

Have you, DOZY, filled in the Vital Statistics thread request? I'll check. I need your real name, age and location to complete your stats.

Thanks, Patty~

Excellent idea, Dozy! I'm all for it. For quite a while now I've been trying to bring back the lost art of letter writing. Snail mail is a happy thing.
