Great deal from Barnes & Noble by Valarie on 14 November 2005 9:21pm

Good news for Python fans who don't have money to burn! I just found The Pythons by The Pythons - that monster coffee table book that retailed for $60 - for $9.98 on remainder sale at Barnes & Noble. It's really well done. I guess that isn't so great news for them, but it's awfully good news for the rest of us.

honestly life is making fun of me...I leave HK and MP visits it... Vancouver doesn't seem to have B&N whereas they did back in HK...but then again when I checked the bookstores before i left they didn't have it stocked....ah well I need some chocolate
thx for the tip Valarie

When one of Michael's travel books has been out for a while in paperback, Barnes and Noble often has the hardcover edition for VERY cheap on their bargain shelves, so look for Sahara. I got most of my Palin travel books for under $7.00 (paid full price for Pole to Pole, but it was worth it) at Barnes and Noble.

Jamie:
If you are still are in Vancouver, check out the Granville Street Book Warehouse (550 Granville St.; near the Granville Skytrain Station). I remember seeing a copy of Python by the Pythons there recently in the Performing Arts section. Maybe, if you are lucky, it will still be there!

wow, through coincidence or some scary force, I actually came online to check the public library site for the pythons but then I decided to go here first and read this! thanks voxpops I'll check that out as soon as I have time :) I went to chapters recently but it was sold out.
And i've just bit my tongue...chewing gum and typing at the same time is not for me
