an experience it must be said.

I;m hoping to do a blog soon but some quick notes for the rest of you travel nuts out there.

Personally couldnt beleive that parents burns and dismember their children then put them out on the streets to beg - totally horrendous. if anyone remembers MP in 80 days in the snake restuarant ?? i went in with some English guys, wasnt feeling too good thanks to a touch of dehli belly - alive one minute on my plate ten minutes later i honestly couldnt eat it.

a four day cruise down the Yangtze, up through the Three Gorges Dam (truly is amazing) stopping off at Ghost City, to the Lesser Three Gorges (or Shennong Stream). Wuhan where there is a lot of poverty then to Chongqing to visit Pandas and Tigers - the old town is also great.

got to Xian where temperatures were at 46oC totally horrendous to the fact that i had to buy an umbrella - well us Scots aint use to that heat.

another trip to Beijing to places like the Forbidden City before a flight down to Hong Kong where the usual tourist sites were visited.

hope to get the blog up soon
