depressed and in debt thanks to... by Sophie-Louise on 6 November 2006 12:51am

BULLDOG BROADBAND.

more like BULLSH*T BROADBAND.

they have defrauded me out of about £300 and that's alot for a student. i cancelled my account in march, they continued to charge my account without permission till i changed my card details. they then set up a direct debit account without my permission (illegally) to my bank details and took a further £90. as thomas will back up i've been so upset over the weekend when i found out. they have sent me over my overdraft limit and i am in trouble. i cna't believe they can get away with this. wish i could take some sort of legal action but i can't afford it and nobody wants to know!

JUST DON'T GO WITH BULLDOG BROADBAND!!! WARNING!!! THEY ARE FRAUDS!

Indeed! Beware all! I would be interested to hear if anyone has anything good to say about these people. There are hundreds of websites devoted to trashing them. But they are so stress-inducing. I really can't be bothered with them anymore. We will just have to be disciples of the bad news!

Isn't there anyone you can contact about this, Sophie-Louise? Even a tabloid current affairs program on television?

Yes, good luck with this! America Online is now settling all sorts of lawsuits because of this sort of thing.

Remember the squeaky wheel gets the grease.

yes capman, i emailed watchdog and had no reply. i think they have bigger fish to fry maybe. i was dissapointed that they were not interested, especially since they have broke me as a student, with only a measley loan in the first place!

That's disgusting Soph, these people take such liberties!! I really hope you can do something here, I have a friend that works for the Daily Mail (she's rather high up) I could give her a call if you like?

My bleedin' internet suppliers did a similar thing, I changed to broadband and I then realised that not only were they charging me for it but still charging for the diallup account too!!! Unreal!
