Milkshake and pastry - is that a danish? - sounds nice.

I usually have cereal with skimmed milk and a cuppa for brekkie, though I sometimes (ok very often!!! ;-) ) add a croissant and jam/honey/golden syrup!!! The golden syrup is very occasional.

In Turkey, we usually have scrambled eggs, tomatoes, cucumber, fresh bread (gorgeous!), strawberry or cherry jam (their jams are delicious!). If we are entertaining our Turkish friends we tend to add boiled eggs, honey, and pastirma and olives (though we are not keen on either of the last two!).

[Don't know what pastirma is? Your quest is to find out!].

When I was at high school my regular brekkie was banana sandwiches, brought to me in bed by my Mum!!

Yum! I usually have apple cinnamon, strawberry, or maple brown sugar oatmeal. My mom cooks breakfast on Sundays...anything from pancakes to biscuits and gravy to French toast or sausage mixed with scrambled eggs. Sometimes cinnamon rolls that are the size of CDs! :-D

I am coming over to your house right now as your brekkies sound yummy!!

Americans cook the most wonderful bacon - nice and crispy.

I quite like grits too...

Why are there so many replies when I post drivel but so few when I (occassionaly) try to be sensible?

I poured vodka on my cornflakes this morning, ala Gary Oldman.
