YAAY! Pete, congrats on your progress.
Our local Polar Plunge is taking place as I write this at the park Orion and I usually walk at. Near 50 temps sort of take the fun out of it, though. But it is raining. No, I haven't, thank you.

Hey, hey! Big congratulations, Pete - I can just imagine those feelings.

So all the rest etc. paid off & you're nearly there, but, as you say, NOT to push it too hard.
Affectionately, Linda (& husband)

How's the Achilles tendon coming along LT?

I've injured the inside of my right thigh but it seems to be getting better quickly. I'll be easing off the painkillers in a day or so.

Yeah, how are you, Lounge Lounger? ;-)

My back is doing a lot better since I cut out sugar. I'm able to do a lot more exercise, too.

My recent injury is more comfortable now but I won't be overdoing it for a while.

My injured leg feels great, thanks for asking! The surgeon suggested I not work on the strength for the first year or so. As I live my life at a near-normal pace, the strength should be built through regular use. I plan to run a bit on grass before ice hockey in the fall. The lack of strength reduces my ability to skate backwards. I hope a lot of bike riding helps.

I will always avoid jumping now as an incorrect landing is a threat to re-injure.

Pete

Bummer. What are you going to do on vacation in a hotel now, NOT jump on the bed?
