jtm: johnny,I think it was very foolish of you to let the cat out of the bag. The result is : a lost cat. Cats have up to nine lives, but humans have only 1. (..or 2?)

Don't let the cat keep going without food. A trip to the vet is in order, if you ask me.

Oh, Patty. What a life you're having - I didn't realise that driving f***ed you up so much. No doubt you'll be minimising it as much as possible.

Poor POOR Larry - it will take lots of time for him to be a lot better by the sound of it.

And you - Fran, Judy, Kazzz - sympathy sent.

Great news! My heart pictures came back, and there are NO blockages! YAHOO! I was really expecting to find out I had some blockages, but NO! I still have to eat right and exercise, but it's such a relief to know that so far, my heart's okay.

As for what caused the pain, that's anybody's guess. But it wasn't cardiac.

That's marvelous. Like I say, a reason for everything. Now you know from all the tests that your heart is in top condition. I'm really happy for you, Judy.

Linda, actually Larry is doing very well. He's allowed to do anything except drive. He'll never "get better" as he'll always be taking medication and have the defibrillator. But he feels great and goes about doing everything he's always done. I keep reminding him to take it easy though. He's no spring chicken anymore. He and I still feel like we are in our 30's and 40's and sometimes younger. (WE WISH! HAHAHAHA)

YAAY, Judy!! Crap happens, but that was great news. Pat, my goodness...glad to hear that Larry's stable and hopefully you can relinquish chauffering duties soon. Everyone, thanks for the sympathy re: my mom. Johnny, have you made an appointment with Confuse a Cat for McGill?

Glad to hear that you are OK, Judy and that Larry is doing OK, Pats.

Oh yes very good news all round! :)

If it's been more than 24 hours, take McGill to the vet. They can go without food for a long time, but it's usually a sign something's wrong.
