These are WONDERFUL news !!! I'm VERY happy for you:)))) If you get a chance - shake his hand, he's got a very pleasant handshake.
Have a great time, and I'll warn Mr Palin when I see him (soon) that you are coming.

Aaah, thanks Kisch! Warn Palin of my coming... maybe for the next book, but hey, if he comes to Norway, I'll be in the front row!!!
And if I do shake John's hand (let's call him John), I'll tell him what you said. I'm sure he'll be very touched :)

Well, I was indeed very excited...
I realised that I had no idea of what to expect from him (apart from "being funny")!

In the end, I felt that it was more John Cleese giving us a lecture (the chair, the powerpoint, everything was there) about how John Cleese became John Cleese, than the man giving a show...
Don't misunderstand, it was a very good night, and I laughed a lot, but somehow, I didn't feel we were a special audience... And we may not have been one, but it's part of his job to make us feel that way, isn't it?
(was this clear for anyone?)
The show was a bit too well rehearsed, and the part I liked more was the three or four questions from the audience in the end... this could not have been prepared, and there I liked the man's answers! :)

But it WAS a good show, and I probably expected too much!

I don't expect anything from John but to be entertained. I know he is a brash smart ass and I expect nothing less. After all - that is why I absolutely adore him!

You'll spend a grand night! He's been very clear concerning the purpose of this tour: making money. :D And he earns it quite well, I must say...!

I am more than happy to dish some cash out to the man, he's made me laugh long enough. Something that is soo free must come at a price at some point, he he ;-P

Going to see him on 11/7 in Davis, CA. The tickets are very pricey but, what the hell, I'm happy to help him pay off his ex-wives....

Ah, enjoy the show, then! :) It was very good, anyway! It's John Cleese, how bad could it be?!
