LOL Ellen. If Michael's "in a funny shape" when he comes to the US I know who to blame, eh?

Thanks for the positive vibes, Karen.

Happy birthday Julie! Hope you enjoy it!

Karen my game plan is to remain calm and remember everything. I think that will be easy enough to remember.

8 days to go!

Julie Happy Belated birthday!

Michelle try to remember to stop dancing when you meet Michael. Voices sound rather funny when people are jiggling about. :-)

LET'S CALL THE HOLIDAYS OFF!

I'm reading Sahara again, just so I feel a little closer to MP.
When I read his stuff I can actually hear his voice as I read...does anyone else do that?

Hee Hee!!

Good one Karen :-}}

Bet you miss them after a few days..... :-} I confess, I missed mine today.. :-{

Yes, I do imagine MP's voice while I'm reading. His books are so well written and accesible that it just seems to happen. :-}}

Sometimes I hear other voices while I'm reading..........?

And then I hear them when I'm not reading................

Oh Gwen, what a dissapointment. :-}

There must have been a very good reason as Michael seems not to be one who cancels.

Hope he's ok and not been taken ill.

Hope you're ok and surviving the heat wave and the fire worry.
Wonder if that had anything to do with the cancellation?

Can't get the Today show here so will have to wait until next week and get the 'live' version.

Ellen x Thinking of you. :-}

Oh dear! I hope Michael's alright!

Tis too bad that you didn't get the chance to meet him, but I see you're planning on going to another book signing, so I hope that one goes as planned. :O)

USA:JAC,do you happen to know where Gooseberry Hill is located in Perth? I have an old friend from Munich who moved there about 10-15 years ago. I met him on a trip to Europe in the mid 1970's and have seen him many times since on subsequent trips there, but NOT since his migration to Down Under. I believe his home sits atop a hill and overlooks a bay. Any info about that location would be appreciated. Thanks.
