i got an email from someone claiming to be anne. i don't know if it's her or not. about the thread: 'what to buy for men'. just her suggestions. i don't know if it's genuine.

Yes, it's her.

I do agree with Linz when she says she`s amazed to see bright, friendly and interesting people respond to the trolls.

The only way to rid a forum of trolls is to completely ignore them. Posting any reply merely encourages them because they crave attention.

Just my tuppence worth here!

Agreed.

Morse has been here for about three years now and people are still rising to the bait. 'Anyone' who 'agrees' with a post of his is simply another of his IDs, period, so why on earth do people take to heart the inane ramblings of someone who's clearly not quite the ticket?

Is it so difficult to just ignore Morse's posts. Why on earth indulge him. Aren't we all mentally a little beyond being suckered in?

As I said in another thread, I've had a couple of disagreements with Spursfan over the years. I'm not her greatest fan but she's tougher than being forced into exile but some lonely, deeply troubled imbecile with about thirty IDs.

Anne's hurt is deeper than a silly old "king" of a website. But, I do agree that we give way too much response to the "king", which is what's scaring me. A lot of our members are being fooled by him in his new troll form.

The guy must have about 30 IDs. I'm quite literally embarrassed for anyone that bothers reading, let alone responding to his drivel. If they do though, more fool them.

Again, someone like Mike needs to be given mod powers. You wont find a nicer guy and I'm sure he'd rejuvinate what was once a really pleasant forum about three years ago, before Morse first infected it.
