Ask yourself - is this weird??? by Spursfan on 25 February 2007 11:24pm

We had some friends and relatives for Sunday lunch today and when I was laying the table I couldn't find the cotton serviettes anywhere - we'd last used them at the end of January. I looked in all the places/cupboards I thought they should be - no good.

As a last resort, as I was getting frustrated at not finding them, I sat on a bed and said out loud, "guardian angel, please show me where I put the serviettes". In my mind I saw a box on the floor in the extension, and thought 'I haven't looked in that box'. Believe it or not - I went into the extension, looked in a wooden box on the floor - and there they were!!

Coincidence or not?? I said thank you anyway just in case!!!

You have powerful influences on your side, Anne. Not weird at all...just go with it!

When I was a teenager, doing some kind of electrical contraption...I was stymied and couldn't get it to work. I dreamt a solution, put it into practice the next day, and viola! Sweet sounds.

It could be weird, but it would be nice to have use of this 'power' any time I choose.

There was a woman on TV who said that whenever she is in London and can't find a parking space, she asks her guardian angel and a space appears!

That's why I asked - after all, can't do any harm, can it.

Thank you Pete (my fave Canadian after my relatives!!)

According to Catholic belief it`s Saint Anthony who`s the patron saint of people seeking lost items. Works for me!
You have to pray very hard, no doubt his celestial inbox is overflowing, lol

It certainly is weird, I have had a whole day of other people trying to make me feel guilty and offloading their shit for things they did themselves.
