i HATE the "oberstufe" !! by just-a-shy-girl on 24 August 2007 11:55pm
i want to go back to the kindergarten! i'm in school again for ...three(?) weeks after the summerholidays and now i'm in the oberstufe and i hate it!we have seven lessons on THREE days in the week! today i had my 12th russian lesson and we have to run from school to school and we come to late to every lesson because we just can't make this way in ten minutes! so i guess i'll always come too late to the sixth lesson on fridays till the end of days...and the stole my beloved englishteacher, i really like her and i was so happy as i heard that she'll be our teacher and now she's gone...and anyway i'm really stressed in these days... i'm frustrated! cheer me up !!

Complain to your teachers, tutor or student representative. It sounds like your school has mismanaged your timetable.

Sounds very stressful running back and fore between schools. I agree with Ken, complain to your teachers.

I can only concur with what has already been said.

What would cheer you up?

It definitely seems that the administration has not planned well. Everyone else has given you good advice. I've never heard the term "oberstufe" before - what does it mean?

Good luck!

Yes Kitty you are among sympathetic friends here.Ken's absolutely right, do complain to SOMEBODY with authority to help.
cheer you up? Is Michael's New Europe Tv series or the book of the series or his DIARIES coming your way soon?

they didn't really mismanaged the timetable because it is that way for years, it's just that the three "gymnasien" nearby cooperate and you can't go from school to school in less then 15 minutes (if you hurry up maybe 13 minutes)), before my timetable change last week i even had to run to the thirt school for englishlessons! on one day i came to my school for the first two lessons run to the "grillo-gymnasium" for the thirt lesson came back to my school for fourst, went to the "gauß" for fifst and came back to my school again for the sixst lesson, damn it ! it wasn't funny!
but i think it is a good thing because if the schools wouldn't cooperate there would have been only ten pupils in the russian lessons at our school and there wouln'd BE a russian lesson at all because of to few pupils , but we go to the "gauß-gymnasium" and we are more then 20 pupils in the lessons!
but i remember wednesday i had to go to the "gauß" and it rained and as the lesson ended and i had to go back to my own school my jacket was still wet and i cought a cold !!

"oberstufe" are the three years to the "abitur" after the ten compulsory schooling year (not sure if these words really fit...)i'm in grade 11 now and after grade 13 i've got my abitur (hope so! xP) and can start study...

When I saw the title of this thread I thought that it was going to be about Germans who eat too much!
