Daylight Savings Time by kazzzz on 3 October 2009 7:45am

Luckily my Mum informed me today that the clocks go forward an hour tonight, do you lot in that other hemisphere change yours as well now?
I'm glad she told me, I'd have been an hour out for the next week most prob.

We used to change about then, and when Sydney had the Olympics, it was made earlier for the Olympics and has never gone back. A lot of people don't like it starting this early.

Nov. 1, which seems late to me, for some reason.

Yeah in UK it's end of October.

Re: Daylight Savings Time by Miss-M on 4 October 2009 11:54pm

Clagster, I had it in my head that daylight saving wasn't due to start til about 25 October. I was most upset when I read in Saturday's paper that it was due to start yesterday. I didn't even have time to gear myself up mentally, and I spent most of yesterday in a zombie-like state. Damn it!

Ah l hate the adjustment time when it starts. Things just seem all wrong! I'm extra tired today and Ava seems to be as well. Bah.

The time change bothered me until about ten years ago when I removed my watch. I don't know the exact date of the change in Canada, my wrist-calendar is not keeping good time.

Ermmm. Does anyone consult the Sun about these things ? Last I heard, he just was going on about his usual business......no wrist-watch at all.

Oh,and he said he has mood swings, not to be confused with the new religion of climate change. He reminds me that he has been a moody old devil for countless milleniums.
