Interviewing Michael tomorrow by SmedleyofSheffield on 30 January 2011 1:18pm

Hello all. Been quite a while since I was on here. Anyway, Michael is appearing at the Festival of Literature in Dubai shortly and I've bagged a phone interview with him for my radio show in the Emirates tomorrow.

I'm extremely excited and for the last week my mind has been buzzing with a million questions... I'd like to know his thoughts on celebrity, comedy, other famous diarists and, of course, travelling.

I'd also like to throw in a few left of centre questions, so does anyone have anything they'd like me to ask?

As well as airing the edited interview on my show, I'll be podcasting the whole shebang, unedited. I will post a link afterwards.

So, if you have any questions, you've got about twelve hours to get them in. I promise to ask as many as I can.

Regards from the sand!

You lucky thing:) Thank you for the information, and I know my question is quite specific, but could you ask Michael if he knows that the old film he's been in (A Private Function) is now being turned into the musical and does he think that it's probably the most inappropriate film to turn into musical (personally, I find the idea very daft:).
Also, you can say that Kate from Russia says "Hi" LOL
Thank you beforehand and I'm waiting for the link to listen to the programme.
You lucky thing!

Smedley, can you ask Michael if it's true that he banned johnnythemonkey from this site because Johnny was funny and he wasn't ? Thank you.
Oh, and I wouldn't mention Kate from Russia. She's not a fan, she's an obsessive."

JTM, I think another letter to Webmaster is in order. Personal insults is not your strongest side, but you are trying it again and again for some reasons. Some people do find it funny, but only until they get insulted themselves.

Oh how brilliant!!!
When I have met him a couple of times I have had questions in my head and then have gone totally blank!
Ask him if he likes creme eggs ;)

Bit of an OOPS from my end. My co-host messed up her dates and the interview with Michael isn't for a month. Can't get the staff, eh?

Anyway, that means more time for questions.

@SmedleyofSheffield That's great news and will give us time to propose questions.....have fun with the interview too!!!

I would ask him if the whole acting, writing, travel, comedian thing had not worked out what other career would he have chosen?

@ Kisch, "Clever lady :-)" above was meant for you.
