Moamar Khadafi to one of his wives: "Don't bother cleaning the house today, dear, the USA is coming for dinner again tonight."

"Yes dear, those Tomahawk Missles make the vacuum seem so small."

I wonder why Gadhafi, Khadaffy or Khadafi is spelled differently depending on which news you're reading/watching?

I have seen it read as both Moamar, Moammar and Muammar as well.

I spell his surname as GaddHafi. But I may change that to: Madman Mad-Hafi, or just Mad-Hatter.

If Charlie Sheen is as Mad as the Mad-Hatter of Libya,--should he too be taken out with Tomahawk Cruise Missiles? --Well,he did try to kill his ex-wife,Brooke,didn't he?
--Just a thought.

I do NOT want to hear anything more about Charlie Sheen. Let him self-destruct in peace and he might actually come out of it alive. All this media attention just encourages his self-destruction.

Piers Morgan gave Sheen a forum for his rants and Sheen got even worse. Several shows later Mackensie Phillips, who has survived similar addictions, called Morgan on that for enabling Sheen.

Can't we send Morgan back to the UK now.? He's absolutely dreadful.

Lo and behold! 37 variations of Gadhafi's name!

"Anyone who has tussled over al-Qaida versus al-Qaeda knows that trying to transliterate Arabic can result in a handful of spellings, and the name of Libya's ruler is no exception. News agencies have picked a spelling and stuck with it: The Associated Press uses the spelling Moammar Gadhafi, Reuters uses Muammar Gaddafi, Bloomberg uses Muammar Qaddafi, and on and on. A 2004 article in the Evening Standard came up with 37 spelling variations on the dictator's name that had been used at one time or another. On the English-language version of his personal website, the ruler uses Muammar Al Gathafi."

Gadhafi, on the other hand, prefers to refer to himself as "Brotherly Leader and Guide of the Revolution."

I think President Obama played it just right with joining in on this. I wish it didn't have to happen, but there you have it. Just wonder how far this will go.
