We lost power at eleven o'clock and I was about halfway through my post and on my second cup of coffee! This was the best I could manage today folks;

Tripoli/ Libya and Hurricane/tropical storm Irene were the top stories this Sunday Aug 28.

We have been without power now since 11:00 am. Over 56 percent of Connecticut still without electricity.

Goodnight Irene, Goodnight.

Not surprisingly 9/11 anniversary is the most reported story. The Balkan Chronicle has a great article leading world news section today.
