Toothache by Angel on 6 June 2003 11:47am

I have the worst toothache known to exist, my jaw is bleeting like a sheep stuck in a hole. Due to earning not enough but too much for assisted support. My tooth is not interested in the fact I can't afford the filling, sob
sniffle, but hey it's friday and at half five I will be unchained from my desk and off free for 48 hours to explore the realm of the sofa.... with some clove oil for my tooth...

Angel...this is awful!
Does your dentist not have some sort of emergency service where you could pay the bill in instalments???
I feel for you...toothache is the WORST!!

1) You may be able to find a temporary filling product at your pharmacy (or chemist shop, depending where you are!) Ask the pharmacist (or chemist).

2) If all else fails, go to the public hospital emergency room. A filling may not seem like an emergency, but the pain is.

Good luck. I feel your pain. Well, I mean, I have felt your pain. - Cori

I'm a Dental Assistant! And I hear these all the time. I feel for the patients! i know it is tough! So what seems to be the problem? Does that tooth have a filling that came out and needs to be filled again? or is that tooth just aching due to that it needs a filling that wasn't worked on before? If you feel pain, take an Advil or Ibuprofen or whatever you take for your headaches. Doing so will calm the pain temporarily until you go to the dentist. I'm sure dentists can do installment plans. It can't be too much...well depending on the tooth. It costs more for molars. but no fret, i'm sure they can work out something for you :) I hope you feel better! I know it is tough when dealing with a toothache! If your face is swollen by the area where the tooth is i'd suggest seeking a dentist quickly ;)
Take care and hope your tooth will calm down soon! ;)

Personally, I don't particularly want Tony giving me medical advice. It could be hazardous to my health.
How's the toothache Angel? I can't stop thinking about you!
