Monty Python reunited! by Ken Dunn on 21 November 2013 8:53pm
The whole team; Palin, Idle, Cleese etc. are reuniting for a one off live show next year at the O2 arena in London on 1 July. Tickets range from just over £25 to £95 - £300 less than the Rolling Stones! Tickets go on sale from 25 November. A BBC news item has more details.
I hope they make a DVD of the show.

Great, isn't it? I am going to try to get tickets but I think the whole world will be doing so as well. The tickets will be on sale from 10 a.m.

Yes, this is good news. I'd fly from CT to London with hubby and son to see that show. I think getting the tickets will be impossible, but I'll give it a shot anyway.

i believe there's a by demand software program to determine how many shows are going to be. now tickets are selling for four nights from July 1st to the 4th.

Originally there was only one performance. I tried to get tickets but they were sold out within 3 minutes apparently! It's the ticket agencies buying tickets en bloc, I am sure!!! As I was trying they decided to add four more days. After a very stressful time, I managed to get two tickets very high up for 3rd July and I had vowed I would never buy tickets that high up at the O2 for anything. But I panicked as I was buying the other ticket on behalf of a friend. The Pythons will be mere dots. I know they have a big screen but it is not the same. Anyway the whole five days are sold out.

The meet and greet tickets are ridiculously priced (sorry, Michael!).

It does say that people who don't like heights or have vertigo should avoid level 4 tickets, Sue!! Just checked and all are sold out; like you I would avoid the top ones.

I can remember going to see U2 at Man City's ground - we were pretty high up there and before it began I was gripping my seat in fear - but I forgot it all when they came on and was standing up and jigging about !! Never again though!! (that high I mean, not seeing U2 - I've seem them once or twice since then!)

I just like to say how disgusted I am with the ticket prices, I went online at 10am and after waiting for 2 mins to get on the official web site , looked for tickets on all days and they all came back SOLD .

Now I see Level 4 (£27.50 face value) selling from £150 upwards with some sites charging £50 booking fees and even £15 in postage.

I have also seen on one site floor tickets for sale up to £3500 and meet and great tickets going for nearly 5k for which I am sure none of that going to the Pythons

Looks like the real true fans will have to wait for the DVD
