Aging... by canaveralgumby on 1 October 2003 1:14pm

(I have prepared myself to have a virtual cow or two catapulted at me...)

Okay, I love Michael as much as anybody, and I AM a shameless, card-carrying member of the MP Estrogen Brigade, but folks,

He DOES look his age.

Many people posting here have written about how "the man doesn't age," and even the author of his autobiography tried to pass it off.

He is in fact probably the most attractive 60-yr. old you will find anywhere, and yes, he still has that boyish grin, but, heck, I mean, you can't hitch-hike across sub-Saharan Africa downwards and then sideways and not age! You can't chase after trains on strike and cargo ships on hold and dhows held together by spit and rubber bands for 80 days and not age.

You can't work with Terry Gilliam and John Cleese and not age!

Damnit, I'm aging, and everyone else had better age, too! Oh, well...

Cori, I will be fed to the lions too, then, I guess. I also think he is showing his age. First thing I said when I saw him in person 3 yrs. ago was, "Aw, he's getting old"! But I still think he's very attractive.

Patty!

well he certainly doesn't look like he's in his 30's or 40's anymore - but he's a very good looking 60 year old. Nothing grand-daddyish about him at all...

of course he looks older, but he doesn't look his age at all, IMHO.
All those years of silliness-- kept him young and frisky.
:)

I think he looks younger in person than he does in photos and on television!

No, you've got it wrong.
*Keith Richards* looks his age.
Not MP.

We all age, but in my opinion Michael does not look 60. Also, I agree with Michelle, he looks a lot younger in person.

..just wish I looked younger in person...or anywhere else for that matter.
