i did better the expected this week . by irishmanufan on 17 March 2004 12:06am

just wanted to share with everyone the fact that i lost 4lbs on my diet this week . so i lost the 3lbs i put on last week plus another pound . i was perfect this week unitl sunday . shaun a friend of our famliy invited my parents and i to a kids concert that he was blowing his own trumpet in and we took him out of a drink and then dinner afterwards . my body must have needed salt as not only did i eat a ton of peanuts with the pre dinner drink i also kept putting my finger into the salt that was left at the bottom of the bowl and eating it neat . then i had a ceaser salad and roast crispy duck vegetables and home fries . i still lost 4 lbs after all that :0)my body must have been adjusted to supper buring all the food i ate !!!!!
that brings me to a total weight loss of 25.5 lbs in 10 weeks . if all goes right i will get my 2 stone (28lbs ) next week .
cheers
a slimmer Linda
p.s if you work in killos divide the pounds by 2 . i know 2lbs 3 ounces make a killo but 2 is easier to divide by :0)

Are you doing a regular exercise routine with your diet? It is said that strenuous exercise is a good way of losing weight and it is beneficial to health. Happy St. Patrick's Day as well!

..keep up the good work..and i think we all need math lessons from time to time! here in the US I periodically have to look up the pound measure of your stone! once rented a flat in London for a lengthy holiday and the bathroom scale was in stone. no dictionary in the flat so had to find one in a bookstore so I could see how much I weighed... cheers to you Linda.
and cheeers from me, Sharon
