smaaaallll world.... by Helen on 14 April 2004 2:09pm

I am a vocational counselor. Okay, that's out of the way.
My new client is a person who, in junior high school, used to tease me VICIOUSLY. Called me all sorts of names and made fun of my hand me down clothes. Just cuz it made her feel good.
She is now my client. I am pretending I don't remember who she is. BUT-- she made my pre-teen years a living hell.
Tiny world, huh?
I'm going to have some fun with this. *evil laugh*
(nah, just kidding...or am I?)

People like that arent worth bothering with - dont lose your job over them - let the past go!! just goes to show you have risen above her - do your job professionally then tell her after you have helped her who you are if you feel the need, it will show who is the better person - perhaps her treatment of you has helped you get where you are today??

good luck Helen

Perhaps this client knows who you are and wants to see if you're still wearing hand-me down clothes ?

Lyn-- my post was purely tongue in cheek (sorry if I did not make that apparent enough-- hard to do with the written word!)so don't take it so seriously.... Lose my job? Surely you jest. :) my point is that it is a small world. People have a strange way of re-appearing in your life....as we can all relate, I'm sure!
And Two Sheds-- you wise ass.. Where have you been?
I wear stuff from Salvation Army, so yeah, she can chuckle to herself that I am still a ragamuffin. maybe I'll corner her in the girls room after math class. then I'll steal her boyfriend and write stuff on the lavatory walls about her.
:)

I'm here, have you missed me? How sweet!
I love to see grown women fight!
Preferably topless in a bath of baked beans!
Yum-Yum!
