Bagpuss and Michael by Godfather on 25 June 2004 11:46pm

If you opened this thread, then there is a high chance that you know what i mean by Bagpuss. A British kids show from the mid 1970's. One i grew up with anyway. All our Kids TV shows from that time were very surreal indeed. Very "Alice through the looking glass" in style, and were quite magical. I just thought you all may wish to hear some audio clips because, the narrator has a voice very similar to Michael Palin. See if you agree with me. In case you're wondering, no it's not Michael but one of the creators, called Oliver Postgate. But the resemblance is quite stiking.

Was? He's still alive...hehehe

Do you agree that he's got a very "Palin" voice?

Mind you. What was he on at the time he made "The Clangers"?
