a silly thing by Helen on 21 January 2005 7:53pm

I'm home feeling a bit under the weather, so a friend sent this to me to make me feel better.
It's great for those Lord of the Rings geeks, and non Geeks alike. :)

enjoy.

Great Helen! Just saw it... although I'm not a Lord of the Ring fan, it is funny :)

I thought it was 10 foot-high penguins with tentacles...

Teeheee.... oh my. To get the Lord of the Rings Geeks as well as the Monty Python fans together:

http://bagginses.com/captions122.html The Nazgul of Nee.

http://bagginses.com/captions227.html
The Life of Frodo

http://bagginses.com/captions225.html
The Elvish Dictionary Sketch

http://bagginses.com/captions162.html
"One Day, Lad..."

Actually, someone did the Parrot Sketch, but I can't find it right now. It was called "The Precious Shire Blue" or something similar. Quite amusing.

And here: http://bagginses.com/captions235.html you will find the scene of King Arthur meeting a peasant... well, in this case it's just the Ring and not a peasant, and it's Aragorn and not King Arthur, but anyway. ;-)

Oh, and just for the heck of it, if anyone wants a good laugh: http://www.bagginses.com/captionpage.html

Now that is a funny animation thingimadooberiewhatsit! I'm now in the process of sending it to everyone I know...and even some people I don't know, who appear to be in my e-mail address book for no apparent reason...

Kate do you have people in your address book and you have no idea who they are and are too embarassed to contact them asking who they are??? Cos I do.....how do I resolve this situation...any ideas?

I'd put a line through the names you don't know and if they are important make sure you asterisk the entry for including into your new address book when the current one is full. Remember, friends are like books - they should be few and well chosen.
In an e-mail address book, junk mail sometimes deposits the senders address automatically so you have to clear it out now and again.
