No, I haven't, but my boyfriend's sisters and brother-in -law have seen it and thought it was FAIR. I mentined this in another thread in case you didn't see it.

I have no desire to see it. It's like seeing the Bealtes impersonators. I've seen the real thing in person and have no desire to see an act, or Elvis impesonators, either for that matter. I know they are fake and so what's the point? Just my feelings about it.

okay thanks...thats cool.

i think tim curry, hank azaria and danid hyde pierce are really great choices. great talent.

i dont see them as fakes, but rather talented actors portraying popular characters, and i can't wait to see it, sounds fab.

Yes, "fake" was not the correct word, you're right.Theactors mentioned are wonderful choices, but they aren't the real thing, that's all.

Hope you have fun anyway.

I was worried when I went to see Monty Python in French that it would be like they were fakes, but it wasn't. Because they were doing something different with it, ie in French, it was OK.
So in my reckoning, Spamalot should be alright to watch, as it is a musical rather than someone redoing the film!

I think I read it's sold out through the Fall!

Do any of the older fans here remember a time when you couldn't find anyone else to talk about Python with? When we were part of something underground? Like a cult following? I don't think it can be considered that anymore...
