Ignore this.

I posed a question, but in the meantime discovered the answer.

In a bizare and downright freaky way you've hit the nail on the head, kazzz.

My original question was what does LBQ stand for? I saw it mentioned on a website and discovered it even had a website of its own - www.thelbq.co.uk, I think.

But I then discovered that LBQ stands for Lunchtime Bonus Question. BBC News Online publishes a daily quiz and this always contains the aforementioned Lunchtime Bonus Question. This is where they provide you with an answer and you have to work out what the question was (a more sophisticated version of Jeopardy, I guess). From what I can see the trick is not so much in guessing what the actual question was, but is to try to come up with a witty and/or clever alternative.
