The Chatter Box : Blathering On
MP - TV trivia (Help, help!) by canaveralgumby on 21 July 2005 9:50pm
I was emailed this question via the MP (UN)official Pg.:

"I have a question about something I am sure I saw Michael Palin in but
can't find a trace of. I thought it was The Comic Strip presents -but
can't see it in the episode guides. It is an episode of a TV series in
which a working class couple (Michael Palin is the husband) sacrifice
all to send their daughter to a really expensive private school. She
gradually turns into an upper class snob and the final scenes of the
episode show her rejecting her parents who walk away in silence and then say
'we've succeeded'.

Any help you could give me on this would be much appreciated!"

I have no clue. Assuming it's a British production? Thanks in advance, Cori

Louise beat me to it. That sketch was from "Tracy Ullman: A Class Act", which was a TV special made for UK television about 12 years ago. Michael also featured in another sketch for that show too.
It sounded familar to something I read in the Python Encyclopedia, so I looked it up to see if that was it.
