Have you ever Googled yourself? by Clare on 23 September 2005 3:03pm

I am a tad bored I admit, I'm waiting for my last class of the day to arrive and I know they don't want to be here. So whilst waiting I googled my name on the computer. In another life I'm a medieval English professor which is kind of weird as I'm teaching literacy at the moment!! Anyone else come up with something interesting about a namesake?

Mmmm. One namesake (first and last name but with no 'e' a the end of Anne) features in 'Big Breast Archive' apparently and was popular in the late '60's and early '70's!!

Googling my birth name, I found that 'I' had been tried for having an abortion in 1650 (correct spellings of name)!!

Anne

..sometimes, google is scary....someone with my name, spelling and near location in CA is in prison in Kansas (US) for some sort of scheme with selling horses i think...and i really do not want to know much more....remember IT IS NOT ME..i don't know nuthin' 'bout horses and am free, free, free....and have never been to Kansas...........yes, scary...

OH my. That was quite a trip. There are at least FOUR people with my exact first and last name living in the U.S. One was a teenage beauty pageant contestant, one was a liver transplant recipient in Loma Linda California, one was an artist, and another was a volleyball player for some college. SO weird...

I've Googled myself. Amazed the stuffing out of me. It reminded me of the Dr. Seuss book, Oh the Places You'll Go.
