OK....
Rotten stuff that's happened to me on buses.

Drivers waiting till you run to the door then drive off smirking.
Drivers speeding and swerving uncontrollably so people are literally falling over.
Drivers driving past stops despite passengers ringing the bell, then ignoring passengers who try to communicate with them.
Grotty banana skins and assorted crap all over the seats and floor.
EVERYONE on their mobile phones at the same timw so you have to listen to 27 different conversations at once with everyone trying to talk louder than everyone else.
Drivers announcing that "this is the last stop everyone off" when it actually ISN'T the last stop.

Honestly< I could write a book.

I was even groped by a man on a bus and shouted at by another one because he decided he'd like to sit where I was sitting.

Oh yes..i love buses *cough*

AND they charge a bloody fortune.

One night I saw a guy get on and the automated ticket machine wasn't working, therefore he had no ticket. He explained it to the driver who told him to "get off my bus."
He didn't get off...he stood there and rang the company and the driver was instructed to drive him to the next stop, allow him to get off and buy a ticket then get back on.
Like the driver didn't know that in the first place.
What a wonderful Ambassador for London Transport he was.

I fell badly while getting off a bus at about 11 o'clock at night and the driver drove off, leaving me lying there. I think he had started to drive off as I was actually getting off the bus. Fortunately, a young couple had been passing in their van and saw it happen and they drove me home, even though it was less than 5 minutes walk.

I was off work for a week with very painful hands and knees. Had to have x-rays of my hands to see if I had broken anything.

I could go on and on about buses! Kazzz, those automated ticket machines are ridiculous. I don't know why they introduced them.
