A Remarkable Young Woman by tucsonmike on 17 July 2006 7:26am

I found this when doing my research for my Sudanese Interests blog.

http://www.boston.com/news/local/massachusetts/articles/2006/07/03/a_lost_child_of_the_sudan_to_become_us_citizen/

I wrote to the conference chair for EPIC to see if she could be the keynote speaker next year. Just me stirring up trouble again. On that note, I am going to bed. It will keep Tucson and the rest of the world safe.

What a moving story! And some people complain about such trivia compared to this young's experiences - It makes me angry.

I know, every since I became involved with these folks, whining (which never amused me before), now just frosts me completely. I almost want to say, "You want something to complain about, read this!"

Yes, a moving story. I am so glad that she has done so well and it will be great when she gets reunited with her parents.
