The Chatter Box : Blathering On
Palin and the Japanese Chick by Bryan99 on 17 July 2006 8:27am
I just finished watching the episode featuring Michael touring Korea and Japan on TV.

Regarding the Japanese girl with the "I love Michael Palin" button, there was obviously a tremendous amount of chemistry between Michael and her, and I want to know what happened off camera...

Or are there just somethings a gentleman can't possibly comment on?

Other than that, the assessment of Korea was spot-on. I like how the former GI backed out of his earlier statement that Korea had an inferiority complex... that was classic!

LOL! Watch the words like "chick." The ladies may not take kindly to it.

...even to say the Japanese "girl" would be wrong, as she is a grown woman! Let's just call her the "watch." The "Japanese watch." (reference back to Luigi Vercotti)

It's kind of ludicrous to think that anything happened. Even IF Mr. Palin were disposed to ACT upon what must have been a very pleasant THOUGHT, he's never alone, like, ever, during these trips.

I have to admit , of all the people MP's "hung out" with on his travels, I was most envious (not jealous) of the Japanese "watch." I'd like him to come to Florida and go out of his way to visit me, and go to the Kennedy Space Center with me & dinner with me because I wrote him a fan letter when I was a kid!
